Carmella Sye Morton, PhD
Dr. Morton holds a Ph.D. in Education Curriculum and Instruction and is the founder and President of RISE Education Schools, Inc. She has extensive experience in professional development, teacher training and the school improvement process. As the former Senior Vice President of Education for the 2nd largest educational management company in the nation, she has been a part of the start up and operation of more than 30 Charter Schools [nationally]. She has over 27 years of experience at each level of education from Pre-K through graduate school as classroom teacher, professor and administrator. As a former science teacher, Dr. Morton is committed to producing & promoting America’s young scientists for the 21st century. She has designed advanced curricula, implemented after school programs, science camps and summer academic programs. Dr. Morton is a National School Reform expert and has founded RISE Education Schools, Inc. to serve as a benchmark for American schools devoted to advancing science & technology for the 21st century. Currently, Dr. Morton manages RISE Academy Schools and consults with select schools throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties..
